I was born in England in the 1960s; and was educated there until moving to Canada with my family in the mid 70s. I painted as a teenager and have painted and drawn off an on since. I have had periods of hiatus and periods of activity.I studied fine arts both in theory and practice at Acadia University and at Mount Saint Vincent University (theory). I am, however, mostly self-taught and enjoy the naivete that this brings to my work. I also play and compose music (mostly folk) and I write. I will try to give you more detail laterl.
